Tutoring Policies

• Any cancellations must be done with at least 24 hours notice. Any cancellations of less than 24 hours will result in a fee equivalent to 1 hour’s worth of tutoring. This is done so I can maintain a functional schedule to fit all students in and properly serve their needs. In-person tutoring can be switched to online tutoring if a student is sick without any fees.

• Payment for tutoring will be done upfront for the first month of tutoring. After that, it will be charged weekly or bi-weekly.

• All online tutoring will be done through Zoom – I shall send out the invite link shortly before the session begins to the student’s email. All in-person tutoring will be done in Austin, TX at the student’s home unless otherwise agreed.

• For in-person students only: sadly, traffic in Austin can be quite bad, and so I may be between 5 and 10 minutes late. I will always tutor for the full length of the session, and if for some reason I am running more than 10 minutes behind (sometimes there’s a big accident on the loop or the interstate, or I need to stop for gas) I will call or text ahead. If for some reason I am unable to tutor for the full session – which is exceedingly rare – I shall discount the rate proportionally.
